I am having my first solo show. And I am pretty excited to be showcasing a number of works created in the Sacred Valley of Peru last year. The show will include both a number of oil paintings and a series of illustrations.
The theme of the show is sacredness of everyday life in the Andes of Peru. Willka means sacred in the Quechuan language.
The show opens June 2nd 2017 which is a Friday and thus also the opening reception day - running from 5-9 pm
The show continues to run for the month of June at the ArtPoint gallery located at 1139 11 Street SE, Calgary, Alberta. It will run Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 1-5 pm, and Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm.
Hope to see you there. And I hope you enjoy the show.
